Prescription Medication Requests

If your pet requires prescription medication (eg antibiotics, pain killers) we can dispense it from our in-house pharmacy in 48 hours, to be collected from our Torquay Clinic. There will be times when medication needs to be specially ordered or made up from a compounding pharmacy (eg chemotherapy drugs, drugs not in general production). 

To qualify to have medication dispensed, your pet needs to be registered at Torquay and Surfcoast Veterinary Clinics, have been seen by one of our vets within the past 6 months and have been regularly on this medication. If a re-check is required to monitor the medication's effects, our team will be in contact with you and request a visit.

You can either call us with a repeat prescription request or click on the link below, fill out the booking request for a veterinarian to review, and specify in the Notes which medication you require. Please allow at least 24 hours for medication to be dispensed. If medication needs to be specially ordered, it may take several days for the prescription to be filled. So don't wait until you've run out!!
